Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data when you interact with taldon.info:

Contact form submissions: Name, email address, and the content of your message when you use the contact form on this website.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time on site, and referral source — collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure and analytics tools.
Cookie data: Information stored in cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (special category data as defined under UK GDPR). We do not collect data from individuals under the age of 16.

03

How We Use Your Data

Personal data collected via this website is used for the following purposes:

Responding to enquiries: Contact form data is used solely to respond to the enquiry submitted. It is not added to marketing lists or shared with third parties.
Website performance and analytics: Technical data is used to understand how visitors engage with our resources, identify technical issues, and improve site content and navigation.
Legal obligations: We may retain or share data where required to do so by applicable law or regulation.

The legal bases for processing personal data under UK GDPR are: (a) legitimate interests for analytics and site performance; (b) contract performance for responding to contact form enquiries; and (c) legal obligation where applicable.

04

Data Retention

Contact form data is retained for a maximum of 24 months following the date of submission, after which it is securely deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law or is necessary to resolve an ongoing matter. Technical and analytics data is retained for up to 14 months in aggregate form. Individual-level technical data is anonymised within 26 months of collection.

05

Third-Party Services

This website loads resources from third-party services, including font providers (Fontshare), icon libraries (FontAwesome via jsDelivr), and JavaScript libraries (jQuery, AOS, Swiper, GSAP) served via CDN. These services may collect technical data such as IP addresses as part of standard CDN request logging. Their data handling is governed by their own privacy policies.

This website also embeds a Google Maps iframe on the contact page. Google’s data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. The embed uses the no-referrer-when-downgrade referrer policy to limit data shared with Google.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes.

06
